The effort is headed by award winning journalist Gary Baumgarten who serves as the network's news and programming director. Gary came to Paltalk from CNN Radio after serving 10 years as its New York bureau chief and correspondent covering stories like the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks and Hurricane Katrina. He was part of the CNN team that received a Peabody Award for its coverage of Katrina.Gary also hosts News Talk Online on the Paltalk News Network at 5 PM New York time weekdays.

The Paltalk News Network is also looking for news and commentary contributors including citizen and student journalists as we expand our global reach, Our correspondents file stories for the network website as well as contribute their observations as guests on the various shows.
